About Hong Kong International Trade & Exhibition Centre

The Hong Kong International Trade and Exhibition Centre is often called HITEC by local residents. It is located in the Kowloon Bay district of Kowloon Island in Hong Kong. The large hall in the center is called the Star Hall and can fit up to four thousand people at a time for large exhibitions as well as concerts. The building is also full of office tenants, restaurant and shops. Large auditoriums are used in HITEC for corporate meetings as well as seminars. The Hong Kong International and Exhibition Centre is easily reached on public transport by the MTR line from Hong Kong or even Lantau Island in just a matter of minutes.
